چکیده
In this paper we revisit the long standing problem of peak-to-average power ratio minimization in MIMO-OFDM systems, with a new angle approach on well-known scheme. Utilizing principles tone reservation, place dummy symbols, i.e., complex coefficients, unused space-frequency resources aim to jointly minimize transmit signal PAPR and self-power consumption symbols. This joint is solved using three different proposed algorithms exhibiting varying degrees computational complexity reduction performance. Our framework utilizes strict expression, take into account average antenna, simultaneously reduce all antennas while keeping scheme minimal. simulation results show that optimization objective provides better worst-case symbol performance compared peak widely utilized reservation literature. Finally, propose novel block-diagonalization algorithm by exploiting knowledge allocations, resulting high-gain data streams downlink transmission.

OFDM System PAPR Reduction Using Pulse Shaping
The peak to average power ratio of the time domain envelope is an important parameter at the physical layer of the communication system using OFDM signalling. The signals must maintain a specified average energy level in the channel to obtain the desired Bit-errorrate. The peak signal level relative to that average defines the maximum dynamic range that must be accommodated by the components in...

Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) systems have been receiving a great attention as one of the solutions for achieving high speed, efficient, and high quality of service wireless communications. However, the main drawback of MIMO OFDM systems is high Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) because of its sensitivity to the nonlinear distortions in...

Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is a popular method for high data rate wireless transmission. OFDM is combined with antenna to increase the diversity gain to enhance the system capacity on time-variant and frequency-selective channels, resulting in a multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) configuration. To better handle fading channel, Space frequency block code (SFBC) MIMO-OFD...

Absract -In recent years, OFDM has gained a lot of interest in diverse-digital communication applications. This has been due to its favorable properties like high spectral efficiency and robustness to channel fading. Some of the major drawbacks in OFDM are its high peak-to-average-power ratio(PAPR) of the transmitted signals and the synchronization of signals. OFDM consist of large number of in...
متن کاملPAPR Reduction in OFDM Systems Using Constellation Shaping
This work considers the problem of Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR) reduction in an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing system. We design a cubic constellation, called Hadamard constellation, whose boundary is along the bases defined by the Hadamard matrix in the transform domain and then we further reduce the PAPR by applying the Selective Mapping technique. The encoding algorithm is ...
